About the truth

In this project I explore the theme “about the truth”. Truth is a fluid concept, where people have different points of view. I ask questions and at the same time there are anchors in my life, like my faith.

The basis are photo’s of branches. I see foundations, growth, movement, purpose, wonder. I edit the photo’s and place layers of drawings and paintings over them digitally. Sometimes I paint over the photo’s and continue to layer them digitally.

The project is ongoing, so this page will change, with the development of the proces.

There are also projects being developed around the artworks.

For the 60est birthday of my eldest brother, I let him choose between 4 artworks of acrylic blocks. It took him some time. He finally choose one. He loved the project and is happy with the artwork!
