Miserere Nobis

Miserere Nobis is Latin and means: Have mercy on us. It is about our cry to Jesus, to God. This photo project shows a small collection of images with this theme. They are all printed on a rather large scale, on canvas.

The artwork was made for an exhibition with a small group of artists, in the Great Church of Leeuwarden, in 2008.

Since then artworks from this project are regularly exhibited. It is one of my most precious projects.

The photo’s are taken at a building site. The abstract forms were inspiring for the theme.

The photo’s are digitally edited, until the meaning appeared.
