Carried

Carried is an art project, based on an old cardigan, that was a favorite. I never wore it lately and this project is on ode to the cardigan and a goodbye.

The theme that appeared was about being carried. In Dutch we have the same word for carrie and wear.

I explored the visual elements of the cardigan, like the light holes, when I held it in the light. I elaborated on these circles.

Furthermore I elaborated on the theme “being carried”. What if you are being carried by a bed of nails? Or in other words: by something less stabile and nurturing? Can you still be safe?
