Direction
Direction is a photo I made in a series, with the view from the top floor of the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where I was a teacher at the time.
I saw this lonely figure, that I found poetic. Where is she going, where does she come from, what is she thinking? Like life itself.
The photo is several times exhibited and one time it was the inspiration for an art project for students. You will find some impressions under the photo.

ART PROJECT VIAA ACADEMY OF APPLIED SCIENCE IN ZWOLLE
During the exhibition of Nowhere/Somewhere Home in Zwolle, I exhibited in two locations. One of them was the Academy VIAA. The teacher of visual arts gave the students an assignment to make their own photo’s and Direction was their inspiration and example.
The results were exhibited in the Great Church of Zwolle.
Here are some pictures of the results. The light in the church was not very good for taking pictures of the artworks.
