Fragility Shelter
In March 2020 I started the project Fragility Shelter. I Began with making one monoprint a day, a technic I wanted to work with, for some time. I started when I was in quarintaine and made 89 monoprints in total.
The thema was being vulnerable and secure at the same time. I made abstract artworks, with in every artwork a vulnerable inside and a sheltering outside.
After free experiments, I started to look around for inspiration for shapes and forms.
I worked for about 1,5 years with the theme and experimented with different materials.
A selection of the artworks became part of my book of art and poetry: Everything that was soft.

EXHIBITIONS
AND AT BUYERS HOMES
was exhibited in my church, De Duif. It started with the AtelierRoute and
the church liked that the artworks would be there for a longer period of time
from the Bijbels Museum and the Westerkerk in Amsterdam,
with a selection of 12 monoprints.
I was placed on the longlist.
