Always Beyond is part of the project “About the truth”. Branches are used to visualize that the truth is always beyond what you think, even in religion. Music by Hildegard von Bingen.

In the video Rachab, we see a woman upside down. This refers to the Biblical woman Rachab, who is a prostitute and therefore lives a life upside down, as it were. In the video she moves, like her life changes when she helps men of God. Dance by Leah Jacob. Music by Rachmaninov.

In the video Place there is an encounter between a person and nature. Being in nature can evoke a feeling of something greater than one self. This can be our creator and the Holy Spirit. We see nature move in different colors. It is a kind of mystic video. Music is a mix of old eastern and western religious music.

Jacobs ladder shows movement on an escalator: ascending and descending figures. Like the angels in Jacobs dream.

In the video Miracle we see someone stepping into a puddle of water, disappearing and appearing again, over and over. The video is in slow motion. Water is a symbol in the Bible, like for Baptizing. Here it refers to Peter stepping unto the water, panicing and sinking. In this video I take it further: God lifts us above it. Thus water is also a symbol of wonder and miracle.

In Heaven and Earth we see a close up of a reflection in water. It becomes almost an abstract movement and image.

The video 70 x 7 refers to the words of Jesus: to forgive each other 70 times 7, being infinite. We are also forgiven by Jesus. We see a blanc business card, with a red cross. The cross disappears over and over again, like our sins are forgiven over and over again and we become pure again. As we forgive each other.

The video Spirit – Life Force shows 6 generations of women in my family. It shows their resilience in life and how the Holy Spirit gives them life and strength to continue, even through great challenges. The sound of water is symbol for the continuity in generations and of the Spirit. The blue color emphasizes this.
